FIELD TRIP TO ONE DAY KISAN

On March 18, 2026, our school is organizing a field trip to the one-day Kisan Mela, a vibrant agricultural fair showcasing the latest innovations and practices in farming. This trip is a fantastic opportunity for our students to connect classroom learning with real-world applications.
The Kisan Mela will offer insights into cutting-edge farming techniques, organic farming, and sustainable practices. Students will engage with experts, explore interactive exhibits, and see firsthand how technology is transforming agriculture. It's a day packed with hands-on learning, making it a valuable experience for everyone involved.

We encourage all participating students to come with curiosity and questions. This trip promises to be both fun and enlightening! 

GRANDPARENTS' DAY 2025-26

Grandparents’ Day is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm and joy at PM SHRI KV Tirumalagiri on 12/12/25. Grandparents, who were invited for the event well in advance turned up to the celebrations in great numbers.

They were received cordially by the teaching fraternity and their very loving grandchildren. The programme started with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The senior retired teachers of the Vidyalaya who were grandparents themselves also graced the occasion.

In his welcome address, Sri K.Chandra sekhar, Principal, has stressed the need to care and respect the grandparents. This was followed by Yoga for well-being by Smt. V. Jyotsna Rani, primary teacher of the Vidyalaya. The grandparents thoroughly enjoyed the colourful cultural programme presented in their honour.

The Headmistress, Mrs. V. Sai Padma has requested the grandparents to play a prominent role in the emotional development of their grandchildren.

In their address,  retired teachers of KVS has stressed the need for the grandparents to focus on the all-round development of their grandchildren. 

The grandparents actively participated in the various games organized for them and had a memorable day for themselves.

DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE/डिजिटल अवसंरचना

All the primary classrooms are now digital classrooms with interactive panels and  LCD projectors. The primary school has a separate computer lab. The students are also provided with magic slates. All these provide the necessary digital infrastructure to facilitate holistic and meaningful learning.

MAGIC SLATE DISTRIBUTION

Magic Slates are electronic devices that enable the students to write and draw several time and learn the concepts well. 

These were procured from PM SHRI fund to be utilized in the primary classes.

401 magic slates were distributed to the students of classes I and II to facilitate joyful and experiential learning.

BALA-Building as a Learning Aid

BALA - Building As a Learning Aid is the concept where the school building is used

as a learning aid by the students. The walls of the Vidyalaya are painted with

interesting and educational information. This include paintings on maps, yoga,

sports, healthy habits, solar system, plants, animals, birds, letters of alphabet,

Varnamala, numbers, mathematical concepts and many more. Students are having

great learning experiences with these paintings.

An amount of Rs. 1,75,230/- was spent for the same

 Jaadui Pitara is a play-based learning kit designed to make foundational education

engaging, interactive, and developmentally appropriate for children aged 3–8 years.

The termJaadui Pitaraliterally translates to “magic box” in Hindi.It is not just a

container of toys but a thoughtfully curated set oflearning and teaching materials

(LTMs)that supportplay-based, multisensory, and exploratory learning.

Introduced by India’s Ministry of Education in 2023, it aligns with theNational

Education Policy (NEP) 2020and theNational Curriculum Framework for the

Foundational Stage (NCF-FS) 2022, emphasizing hands-on, child-centered learning over rote memorization.

     

जादुई पिटारा' - 3-8 वर्ष की आयु वर्ग के बच्चों के लिए तैयार की गई एक खेल-आधारित शिक्षण-शिक्षण सामग्री

Jaadui Pitara has been developed as an exemplar collection of learning teaching materials useful to teachers to enable play-based learning for children aged 3-8 years. Various components have been mapped with curricular goals and competencies of the foundational stage. It takes care of all the domains for leading to holistic development by ensuring multi sensorial activities and use of hands. 

A Magical Learning Experience with Jaadui Pitara ✨

Our teacher created a joyful learning environment by engaging students with the Jaadui Pitara. Through play, stories, and interactive activities, children explored, discovered, and learned with enthusiasm. Their cheerful smiles and active participation reflected the true spirit of joyful learning

     

TLM – WORKSHEETS

A variety of worksheets as per needs of the students are printed with the funds allocated from PMSHRI. Students are involved in experiential and joyful learning activities using these worksheets.

An amount of one lakh rupees was spent for the worksheets in foundational classes.

PURCHASE OF XEROX COPIER TO PRINT WORKSHEETS UNDER PMSHRI

FIELD VISIT TO CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE, DEPARTMENT OF HORTICULUTURE, GOVERNMENT OF TELANGANA, MULUGU, SIDDIPET DISTRICT

Field Visit is an essential practical component PM SHRI program wherein students from classes I to V are exposed to Agriculture Universities & institutions, Gardens, parks, Farms, Nutritional Gardens etc. It develops a sense of community and the importance of working together towards a common goal such as harvesting a certain crop, growing a vegetable garden or raising livestock. They learn to collaborate with different stakeholders while picking up social skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership. 

The students of classes IV and V are taken on a field visit to Centre of excellence, Department of Horticulture, Government of Telangana situatued in Mulugu, Siddipet district on 10/12/2024 and 13/12/2024.

 The trip involves activities like visit to Hitech Nursery, Agro forestry and Fruit Nursery. The students will participate in Vegetable Cultivation and Transplantation at the centre.

The Centre works with the following objectives:

1. Production of high quality fruit crops planting material for distribution to farmers.

2. Establishing intensive crop cultivation site by demonstrating the latest production technologies.

3. To demonstrate production of high quality fruits & varieties aimed for both national and international markets year around.

4. To make horticulture a profitable, diversified farm activity in increasing income of the farmers by achieving potential productivity through sustained and advanced technologies.

5. To create awareness on new technologies through demonstrations on crops like Mango, Citrus, Guava and Pomegranate.

6.  Field Visit to Nehru Zoological park

The children of classes 1&2 were taken  to Nehru Zoological park as a part of field visits under PM Shri Program on 30/11/2024.The purpose of the visit was to learn more about animals, their habitats,and the importance of wild life conservation.
Children boarded the buses from the school with lot of enthusiasm and interst. they were those little environmentalists who are all set to discover the beautiful flora and fawna around us.
Children enjoyed the toy train ride which covered the maximum part of the zoo. They learnt important lessons:
*Animals are beautiful and need to be protected.
*Zoos are not just for entertainment, but they help to conserve endangered species. It is important to respect nature and wildlife.
*Children learn about animals, their behaviour and the efforts needed to protect them.
