MUSIC INTEGRATED LEARNING
Foundational Literacy and Numeracy is stressed upon by the National Education Policy 2020. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, being the pace setting organization in the field of school education, has plunged into action in this direction. A set of HMs and primary teachers are identified from across the country and were given the task of preparing concept wise modules to teach primary classes by integrating the lessons with art, music, toys and puppets. These concept wise modules are aligned with the Lakshyas of NIPUN Bharath and will be definitely helpful to all the primary teachers. They are put up in the KVS - NIPUN blog.
It is a matter of great pride that the Headmistress Mrs. V. Sai Padma and the senior PRT Mrs. V. Jyotsna Rani are among the selected people in making these modules.
The modules were explained and demonstrated by Mrs. Sai Padma to the master trainers of Hyderabad region and Varanasi region on 16th and 17th August respectively. Here are the glimpses of the same.

Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Workshop

Foundational Literacy and Numeracy is the key element of National Education Policy 2021. KVS has taken up the task of training its primary teachers in FLN.
Regional level Numeracy workshop was conducted from 12/7/2021 to 17/07/2021.
Mr. T.Srinivas, PRT of KV Tirumalagiri was chosen the Master Trainer for the workshop.
